DIRECTIONS - Take the Highway 97 Alternate north from Wenatchee or south from Chelan. Turn onto the Entiat River Road in the town of Entiat. 27 miles down the road, pull off at the Box Canyon Viewpoint. Follow the short trail to the viewpoint where the falls are just below.

This small cascade was named for the fact that it is shaped like a fish tail. The Entiat River roars through Box Canyon and drops over the falls. While not very tall, the falls are very powerful and the canyon around them is gorgeous. It's definitely worth the short walk to the viewpoint.
