DIRECTIONS - Drive east from Everett on Highway 2. Drive past Skykomish for about 10 miles and turn left into the Deception Falls Picnic Area. Follow the trail around staying right at the fork, cross a bridge over Deception Creek, and walk under the highway to the viewing area for the falls.

Deception Falls is a nice little area to take the kids. With four waterfalls located in this little park along a short trail system, anyone can enjoy it. The falls themselves can range from a powerful, watery mess to a gentle cascading stream depending on the water level. Definitely worth a stop on your way over the pass.
