DIRECTIONS - From Olney Pass, take the right hand fork and follow it to the bridge over the South Fork of the Sultan River. The creek where the waterfall is located joins the river about 200' upstream from the bridge. Make your way here and then scramble upstream however you can to see various tiers of the falls.

This waterfall consists of a long series of small drops, totaling 234' in height over a course of about 900 horizontal feet, with the drops growing taller as one progresses upstream. There is a good chance that there is even more to the waterfall above what I have seen, but I can't confirm it. The uppermost tier that I have seen is a plunge of about 45' in height (left). Below here is a really nice segmented drop around 40' tall. The other major tiers consists of two side-by-side horsetails about 20' tall. In between and below all these tiers are a variety of cascading drops leading to the overall height. I named the falls after the Kromona Mine Trail which is located in the same general area. As you can see, the lighting on my trip to the falls was pretty awful. Under the right conditions, some of these tiers should be very photographic.

It should be noted that I've seen the mine called Corona Mine as well so I'm not 100% sure which name is correct.
