DIRECTIONS - From Winthrop, drive north on Chewuck River Road. Just before the road ends, you should see a small Memorial at a pullout on the left side. This tall waterfall can be seen to the right plunging into the valley.

Memorial Falls is a tall, multi-tiered waterfall that drops into the Chewuck River Valley just before the trailhead at the end of the road. I assume it probably runs dry later in the summer, but it was still running pretty well when I visited. Don't make the long drive out the road just to see this waterfall, but if you are planning to hike in the area, there's no reason not to take a peek.
