DIRECTIONS - From Darrington, drive west on Highway 530 for a couple miles and turn north onto Swede Haven Road. Follow it for around a mile and then turn right onto FR 18. Follow it for around 6 miles to Cascade Creek (it's the first big creek that you'll cross). The waterfall is about 500' downstream. Get to the ridge on the left side of the creek (as you look down from the road) and follow it to the falls. There's a little tricky climbing to get a clear view of the upper tier but nothing too bad.
Cascade Creeks are common and they almost always have waterfalls. This one is no exception. Cascade Creek Falls is a cascading waterfall that totals 52' in height in two main sections. The upper section drops 29' in a back-to-back-to-back drop. The lower section stands 23' tall and includes a pretty horsetail followed by some short cascades. The waterfall and the area around it is very pretty with abundant moss and ferns. Unfortunately, it also has a large number of trees that have dumped across the creek blocking views of the waterfall. If the creek ever floods and cleans this area out, this will be a VERY pretty area; until then it's probably of interest only to hardcore waterfall collectors.
