Boardman Creek has several waterfalls at its headwaters. The various streams all combine at the bottom of the valley where the full volume of the creek drops over this small, but lovely waterfall. The upper tier splits around a rock and plunges 18' in a necktie shape into a small pool. The creek then dumps out of that pool into a much larger pool.
While the waterfall itself is not horribly impressive, the pool is a perfect spot to take a dip. The water is chilly, but not overly cold and a large rock on the left side of the pool provides a place to jump in if you choose to do so. Unfortunately, getting to the falls requires a long, tiresome, and fairly dangerous adventure, so it is unlikely very many people have enjoyed the swimming hole. I'm OK with that.
