DIRECTIONS - From Middle Wallace Falls, continue hiking another 1/4 of a mile or so to the mediocre viewpoint of the upper falls. To see the uppermost tier, keep going to a new bridge over the river. The upper tier is just below the bridge. Cross it and scramble (carefully) down the hillside to a view.
Upper Wallace Falls would be nearly as good as Wallace Falls itself if all the tiers could be clearly seen. The biggest drop occurs around a corner and is not visible from the trail. What can be seen from the viewpoint are two drops totally around 120' in height. Lower drops can be glimpsed over the top from the viewpoint as well.
