DIRECTIONS - Drive east of Granite Falls on the Mountain Loop Highway. About 2.5 miles past the Verlot Ranger Station, turn down the road signed for the Lake 22 Trailhead. Start along the trail until the first bridge over Twenty-Two Creek. The falls are just downstream from here so backtrack a little and bushwhack to the creek where you can see the top of the falls.

Mossy Rock Falls is the first waterfall you'll encounter on your way up Twenty Two Creek trail. It is located just downstream from the bridge over the creek. To reach it you have to backtrack down the trail a short distance and bushwhack into the falls. Only the top couple drops are easily seen. The picture on the left is the top of the falls taken very late in the evening (on the way back down the trail), hence the poor lighting.
