DIRECTIONS - Drive up Highway 20 towards Rainy Pass. The falls are around 14 miles east of Newhalem and can be viewed from the bridge over the creek (which is signed).

Almost every creek that runs along Highway 20 heading east from Newhalem has a waterfall on them. Lillian Creek is no exception, dropping over a pretty 61' tall horsetail that can be seen from the bridge over the creek. There are also several upper sections that can be partially seen through the trees but no clear views are available from the road. I recently made my way to the base of the waterfall by following a very old roadbed on the right side of the creek. It's very brushy but well get you there. I also made my way to see the upper sections of the waterfall. It's not terribly difficult to get up there. This upper section is a long series of cascades that are pretty, but not super impressive.

There is supposed to be a larger waterfall named Ruby Falls somewhere further upstream, but I have been unable to reach it in my two attempts. It gets really cliffy up there.
