DIRECTIONS - Drive east along Highway 20 through the town of Newhalem. A few miles east of town, stay left towards the small town of Diablo when the highway heads right over Gorge Lake. The road goes over Stetattle Creek right away. Park at the pullout and head along the trail on the left side of the road. The trail sort of peters out at about 2 1/2 miles but is still visible for a while longer. Keep your eyes open to your left through the trees and you may find a hole through the trees to see the falls.

This waterfall occurs where several streams drop well over 1000' down the side of Davis Peak. The falls can be seen distantly from Highway 20 (left) or from parts of the Stettatle Creek Trail. The total height of the falls may be close to 2000'.

It's definitely not worth hiking up the trail to try to get a glimpse of the falls. From the highway, you kind of have to know right where to look.
