DIRECTIONS - Take Highway 2 east of Monroe and turn left onto Kellogg Lake Road. A couple hundred feet down the road is a gated road on the right side. Park here and walk down the road for exactly 1.5 miles to the bridge over the creek.

Olney Creek is a large volume creek near the town of Gold Bar. Near the end of its run, the creek harbors three notable waterfalls. This is the lowest and best known of the falls. Here Olney Creek cascades about 60' in two steps, spreading out to about 30' wide on the bottom tier. The falls are not so much pretty as they are impressive. The trip into the falls is pretty enjoyable. The first 1/2 mile passes through some cool wetlands with abundant birds and evidence of beavers in the area as well. The mile and a half journey is almost perfectly flat as well with one small hill just before the falls.
