The creek that contains Quartz Valley Falls is essentially a long series of waterfalls dropping hundreds of feet into Quartz Creek. The middle falls on the creek is a series of four consecutive drops of 32', 26', 21', and 22' in height. They look really cool from the side, but the only clear view we could find (left) lost most of the upper sections due to foreshortening. This is a waterfall that looks much better in person than it does in my pictures. Getting to this section of waterfall is not too horribly difficult, but getting down the cliff to the base of Quartz Valley Falls itself is highly dangerous and quite messy.
