While Isabel Falls is fairly well known, many don't realize that May Creek contains several smaller waterfalls further downstream as well. Middle May Creek Falls is the smallest of the three, and occurs a few hundred feet downstream from the upper falls. The falls begin with 12' worth of bedrock cascades before dropping 24' in a 30' wide convex curtain of water. To the left of the falls is a large, granite wall. Below this main drop, the finishes with another 17' tall drop, bringing the total to 53'. It's a super pretty waterfall and if you're planning on visiting Lake Isabel, it's not that much off the route.
