DIRECTIONS - Drive over Stampede Pass and turn left onto FR-52.  In several miles, turn right onto NF-7036.  You need high clearance possibly 4WD to get up this road, which is one of the scariest I've ever driven.  In 3 miles, you should see an abandoned road on the right.  Park and walk steeply down the road for 1/2 a mile to a concrete bridge over Twin Camp Creek.  The falls are another 1/3 of a mile upstream.  I just went up the creek and it was pretty enjoyable.  On the way out, I climbed up the ridge on the left side of the creek (when facing upstream).  It worked, but I don't think it's any easier than just wading up the creek.

On my recent trip into the Stampede Pass area, I made a very last minute decision to attempt to get this waterfall.  I am VERY glad that I did.  Twin Camp Creek drops 54' over one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen.  The falls begin by sliding down the cliff at a steep angle before reaching a more freefalling section.  About 2/3 of the way down, it encounters a pyramid-shaped chunk of bedrock and spreads out into a gorgeous fan.  There is a perfect little pool at the bottom of the falls, and the entire area is mossy and lush.  The cliff the falls drops over even has two little "hobbit holes" in it, including one that goes right behind the falls.  This spot truly has it all, and Twin Camp Falls is probably my favorite new waterfall that I've found in the last decade.  It's just that special!
