Paradise Falls is one of the most attractive small waterfalls I've ever seen. The falls drop over a series of three drops of 3', 5', and 12' from top to bottom. In the picture above you can just make out the middle drop. First you have to get to the falls, which is no easy task, requiring either a wet crossing of Gilligan Creek or climbing across a cold, wet log to get out to the big logjam in the middle of the creek. Once there, you will get the wonderful view seen in this picture. Like I said, it's a very tough trip, but well worth it for anyone who loves waterfalls as much as we do. The falls were named by Brett Madden and are very fitting for a falls that would look like Hawaii if it wasn't for the big evergreens around the creek.
