Kucadadid is a pretty waterfall located on a small tributary stream of Rocky Creek. The waterfall consists of two tiers: 20' worth of cascades and then the beautiful 34' tall main horsetail. Downstream the creek continued to drop but on my visit it was getting late and dark and I still had a long trip back to the car so I didn't have time to investigate. In addition this creek has an upper falls that looks really cool so I will probably return to check that out at some point. I was surprised at the volume of the creek when I visisted. I assumed this was a very small, seasonal stream, but it's quite volumous and most certainly runs year-round, although it probably gets very small later in the year. "Kucadadid" is a Nooksack Indian word meaning "cast a spell". This waterfall is certainly spell-binding.
