DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Boyd Creek Falls. As you near the creek, you can hear and partially see the lower falls through the trees. If for some unfathomable reason you feel to the need to scramble down to the falls be careful. The hillside is steep.

The lower falls on Boyd Creek is possibly even uglier than the upper falls. The main thing this one has going for it is that it is one tier instead of the three tiers of the main falls. Lower Boyd Creek Falls occurs where the small creek encounters a bulge of bedrock and cascades about 25' down it. The falls is also covered with logs and almost impossible to see clearly. Don't bother climbing down the hill to view this one. You can sort of see it from the road if you really need to.
