DIRECTIONS - Turn onto Miller River Road near the town of Skykomish. Follow the road to its end at the Lake Dorothy Trail. Park and hike along the trail for around half a mile. You should see the lower tier through the trees. Once the trail rises above there, bushwhack down to the creek for a view of the upper tier. It should be possible to get a clear view of the lower tier as well.

This small, but very pretty waterfall is located just off the Lake Dorothy Trail. According to my GPS, the waterfall occurs on the East Fork of the Miller after it converges with Camp Robber Creek. I have my doubts about the accuracy of this reading though because the volume was no larger than the volume at Lower Camp Robber Creek Falls. Further investigation will have to be done next time, but expect the name of this one to change in the future.

The waterfall itself consists of two tiers, the 12' tall blocked shaped drop pictured here, and another 10' tall punchbowl just downstream with about 5' worth of cascades in between the two. This lower tier can be seen from the trail fairly easily. Florence Falls itself is a bit of a mystery. It is suspected to be located just downstream from the outlet of Lake Dorothy, but the Topo maps mark it as being located further downstream below the road. There may be waterfalls in both locations.
