DIRECTIONS - From Snoqulamie Falls, drive southeast for a few hundred feet and turn onto Tokul Road at the roundabout. At the next fork in the road, turn left and immediately go over a bridge. The falls are just downstream from here and around a corner in the creek. They can be viewed from either side of the creek with a little work.
McCauley Falls reminds me of a sort of uglier, smaller version of Waukeena Falls in the Columbia Gorge. The falls drop down and then run over a very pretty series of rocks and boulders before running under the road. Getting close up views requires whacking through a never-ending mess of blackberry bushes. Only the bottom 50' or so of the falls can be seen from the base and I haven't attempted to climb above that yet.
