DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Lower Suiattle Falls. The upper tier can be seen from about 100' back down the road by looking high up on the cliff. It's possible to get right up next to the falls with enough work but it is difficult and potentially dangerous.

The creek that contains Suiattle Falls and Lower Suiattle Falls is essentially one very tall waterfall containing numerous drops along the way. From the start of the falls to the bottom at the road, the creek drops a total of about 1300', virtually all of which is waterfall of some sort. Splitting the creek into different waterfalls becomes sort of arbitrary but I've done the best I can.

The main section of the falls plunge 132' before hitting a dome of rock and immediately horsetailing down the mountainside for a total of 256'. The creek then drops over another 80' plunge before disappearing out of sight. Above all this is another 120' tall series of drops that begins with a plunging drop and gradually becomes more and more shallow, finally flattening out just before the main plunge. A view from across the valley shows even more drops above that.
