DIRECTIONS - Drive east on Highway 2 past Skykomish and turn right onto Foss River Road (FR 68). Follow this road for 4.7 miles and turn left onto FR 6835 and follow it to the trailhead at the end. Begin hiking the trail, passing Trout Lake at about a mile and a half. Shortly after leaving the lake the trail comes to Copper Creek. Leave the main trail here and follow a series of boot paths steeply down the hill for about 100' to the falls.
This is the best of the three small waterfalls located on Copper Creek as it nears the Foss River. Here Copper Creek spreads out and tumbles down a 3-tiered waterfall, surrounded by all things green and forest-y. It's one of the prettier waterfalls in the area, especially when the volume is higher. The falls look shorter than the 84' due to a significant amount of foreshortening.
