DIRECTIONS - Drive east on the Mountain Loop Highway for about a mile from the Granite Falls fish ladder. Turn left onto Canyon Road and follow it for around a mile. Park at the small pullout just before the bridge over Canyon Creek. The falls can be seen from the bridge.
This waterfall is marked on all the outdoors maps of the area. The falls occur where large volume Canyon Creek tumbles for about 10 vertical feet just upstream from a bridge. When the creek is running high, this is a fairly impressive drop, and worth the 1 mile drive if you're in the area. There is a small park with a little playground near the waterfall. This area used to be pretty sketchy, but the neighborhood seems to have improved over the last couple of years.
