DIRECTIONS - Drive east on Highway 2 past Skykomish and turn right onto Foss River Road (FR 68). Follow this road for 4.7 miles and turn left onto FR 6835 and follow it to the trailhead at the end. Begin hiking the trail, passing Trout Lake at about a mile and a half. Shortly after leaving the lake the trail comes to Copper Creek. Continue along the trail for another 1/4 of a mile or so. It will go away from the creek and then come back and make a sharp switchback. The falls can be heard and seen from there.
This is the uppermost of the three small waterfalls on Copper Creek near the Foss Lakes Trail. The falls can actually be seen from the trail (sort of), but a short scramble down a steep hillside is required to get a clear view. It's worth the little bit of extra effort if you have time.
