Day Creek is the largest creek in the Lower Skagit Valley and could almost be called a river. It drains an enormous area south of the Skagit and as a result has a very high volume of water. Around 4 miles upstream from the South Skagit Highway, Day Creek dumps over a series of 6 drops, each around 10' tall before dumping into a deep pool at the bottom. My picture below only shows the bottom couple of drops and doesn't show them very well at that. The falls are much more impressive in real life as well.
